No stone at the center, no accent — the pattern is the point. The eye goes to the carved structure, not a bright insert. The silver has to carry the piece on its own.
Each groove is blackened to push the silver lines forward. The flat disc becomes a surface with depth — raised edges, dark valleys, and a pattern that shifts when the light moves.
